"It's okay."
Bila kali terakhir anda katakannya pada diri sendiri? Saya sendiri pun sambil tengah bergolek-golek dan ber'throwback' ni tiba-tiba tersedar yang dah lama saya tak say this thing to myself.
Dicampur pula dengan tangan yang dah agak lama gatal nak update blog, apa lagi... drum roll.. and dush!
Baik, betul tak kadangkala kita ni tak sedar betapa mudahnya diri terkesan dengan perkara-perkara kecil yang tak mengikut 'piawaian' kita? Small things, tapi bila tak kena dengan apa yang kita nak, it kind of ruins the mood.
You know, it can be a simple thing from work, a little disagreement with your loved ones, those things you are currently working on but have yet to achieve, that small thing your friends do that annoys you or simply, the wrong choice of outfit on that one particular day to name a few, and many more.
Apatah lagi bila ada pula perkara-perkara yang lebih berat dan besar yang turut mengganggu fikiran tu kan?
Haa, mengaku ke tak mengaku? Saya mengaku (angkat tangan dulu 🙋🏻).
Bila kita letak diri kita di luar 'zon-zon' kecil dan besar tu, kebanyakan masanya tak ada apa pun yang tak boleh diselesaikan apa lagi nak distresskan dan dirunsingkan. Tapi disebabkan kita terlupa nak take a step back and put ourselves outside of the zones, semua benda-benda kecil tu terkumpul dan jadilah bondo bosa, dan yang bosa bertambah bosa bak kato orang nogori. (Mohon check betul salah ya orang nogori 😬).
"Now what?"
Now is the time to say 'It's okay' to yourself. Say it, believe in it, remember it, and move on with it.
Biasanya ayat-ayat sebegini mudah untuk kita utarakan kepada teman-teman terdekat. Tapi bila nak cakap pada diri sendiri, tak perasan pulak ya?
Bonus adalah bila kita ada teman sekeliling yang supportive dan sentiasa mengingatkan kita.
So here goes, to myself and to you who are reading this post:
- It's okay to fall down, it is part of the journey.
- It's okay, the journey is not yet over.
- It's okay, you've tried your best. So have no regret.
- It's okay, you can always try again.
- It's okay, one mistake doesn't define your whole way of being.
- It's okay, this is nothing but a great life lesson for you.
- It's okay, everything is going to be just fine.
- And most importantly, it's okay, Allah will never leave you alone.
"Senangnya cakap (cekak pinggang.)"
Yes, cakap memang senang (balas cekak pingang). Tapi itulah, memang kena mula dengan 'cakap'. Cakap dekat diri sendiri, dalam hati (pasang nawaitu), tak semestinya cakap di mulut (dan hidung 👃🏼?)
So let's do ourselves a simple yet powerful favour today shall we? Take the easiest first step and say "Dear self, it's okay 🙂."
